Fleur Woods Three Day Stitched Floral Rosette

Join internationally renowned contemporary fibre artist Fleur Woods for three fabulous days of creative mixed media embroidery.
Stitch a bloom of your choice & create a beautiful, original, wall-hung rosette artwork that reflects your creativity.
Learn to thread paint a flower using various threads for the rosette's centre button, then build the surrounding pleats and streamers to adorn your bloom.
We'll work with new and vintage textiles, threads and mixed media to create your art rosette.
Fleur's teaching style is generous and welcoming. Her workshops suit creatives of all experience levels wishing to explore art making in an open minded and playful way.
Three whole days will give you the opportunity to create a simple finished rosette or complete the elements to assemble later as an on going project. Fleur will support you to decide which approach will work best for you.
All materials are included and provided in generous quantity, using a shared colour palette curated by Fleur. You are welcome to bring elements, embelishments or colours that you particularly wish to work with.
$1200.00 aud includes all materials, tuition and morning tea and lunch each day.
