We will be learning the basics of Botanical Illustration and watercolours and then applying our new skills to create a painting of a single Phalaenopsis bloom.
A day for anyone wanting to delve deeper into illustration and the finer details of the natural world, this workshop will leave you with a deeper appreciation of flowers and intricacies in nature you may not have noticed before.
Suitable for beginners and beyond, participants will take home a completed botanical illustration as well as a watercolour brush and small palette of artist quality paints.
All materials are included as is morning tea and a delicious lunch.
